John Mark Carrier (born October 28, 1965 in Lafayette, Louisiana) is a former professional American football player who was selected by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the third round of the 1987 NFL Draft 57th overall. A 6'0", 198-lb. wide receiver from Nicholls State University, Carrier played in 12 National Football League seasons from 1987 to 1998. He was all-state and all-conference as a senior with an average of 22 points per game in basketball his senior year. He also coaches for a Pop Warner league in Tampa, Florida, the Carrollwood Hurricanes.
