Philanthropy again appeared during the Big Shell Incident, with the help of Raiden. They uncovered the plans by Solidus Snake and Revolver Ocelot. In Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots, it appears the Philanthropy could have been dissolved or unactive for the time being. Solid Snake seems that he is no longer with the group as he was hired on by Colonel Campbell. It is unknown whether Otacon still is a member of Philanthropy.
