Sechel was a rare male Pureblood Sith non-Force-sensitive who served as an advisor and envoy of the Dark Councilor Darth Nyriss of the Sith Empire, and previously served in the Imperial Intelligence. His intelligence and highly developed survival skills compensated for his underwhelming stature, and allowed him to rise high in Sith society. When lord Scourge arrived at Darth Nyriss's home, there was immediate animosity between them, which resulted in plotting against each other. He was eventually killed by Scourge around the time that Revan stormed the Emperor's citadel.

Il n'était pas apprécié du Seigneur Scourge qui se méfiait de lui. Il le soupçonnait même d'être un traître. En plus d'être conseiller, Sechel travaillait aussi dans la recherche de personnes en quelque sorte comme "enquêteur". Meetra Surik fit appel à lui pour retrouver Revan.
