Still in the process of evolving, the Abyssin were descended from violent primates that demonstrated hostile tendencies. Male and female Abyssin shared the same traits, while females carried their young for eight months before a live birth. Favoring bipedal locomotion, the hulking Abyssin stood two meters tall and had long limbs with two long fingers on each hand. Each foot had to forward facing toes and an additional toe in the rear. Well-muscled, their greenish-tan bodies had a slightly hunched posture. Covered in short hair all across their bodies, the longest hairs grew on their face in long tresses that grew in locks. Their faces were dominated by a single large eye, which was situated over a large, wide nose and a mouthful of sharp teeth used for devouring flesh. Two pointed ears protruded from the sides of their head, which was otherwise completely bald and featureless. Oxygen breathers, Abyssin lungs were hardy and had greater depth then found in most other mammals their size, allogint hem to run great distances without tiring as quickly. A distinctive trait of the Abyssin was their ability to heal quickly and regenerate any body part, which some believe contributed to an especially violent racial culture. Their fast regeneration is believed to have been an adaptation to prevent fluid loss from bleeding. Abyssin body cells were replaced every 80 hours and organs which typically were paired in other species appeared singularly in the Abyssin body. Because of their regenerative abilities, Abyssin could live up to 300 standard years.
