| - Not everyone that ends up at A Fifth Dimension: The Twilight Zone Wiki will be veterans when it comes to the wiki format. In fact, most will likely only have some familiarity with its format and markup. To all newcomers, here is a message: Don't let that stop you! We encourage you not to hesitate when it comes to contributing and helping to make our project more complete. The beautiful thing about a wiki is that it is a community project. If there is something you don't know how to do or are unsure of an article's place or validity in the wiki, there may be others that can provide some assistance (in particular, apprentice narrators). If you are creating your own article, this may be comforting because even if you can't complete the article or haven't quite figured out how everything works, perhaps someone else will come along and help to edit the article to make it more complete. So, writing only as much as you know about a subject that you feel is needed in the wiki is fine. It's always better to have a little content than none at all—or worse yet, inaccurate information. In that respect, keep in mind that there is no ownership of articles here because all of the wiki belongs to the community. Any article you contribute may be elaborated on or edited by any other user. In most cases, this is not a bad thing (as mentioned above) because our goal is to create articles that are complete, accurate, and compliant with this wiki's policies and guidelines. Another benefit of shared ownership is that it is perfectly fine to add to and improve any article without getting permission from an owner—provided that you follow the rules. If the idea of sharing or having your work be edited by others doesn't have much appeal to you, then perhaps wiki is not the proper format for you—try to build your own site from which users here can cite instead. If it instead seems perfectly fine, then get busy!
