  • Laurie Salopek is an author of Forever Knight fan fiction, including a play. With Jean Prior, she created the mailing list FORKNI-L@LISTS.PSU.EDU in 1992 for the discussion of the Forever Knight television series. In January 1994, along with two other Cousins, Margaret A. Newman and John E. Dencoff, Laurie co-wrote "A Call to Arms", a story in which LaCroix summoned the three of them to Toronto and ordered them to torment Nick Knight's fans until they agreed to switch support to LaCroix instead. This instigated the first Forever Knight War, for which Laurie was the warleader: thus began the Wars that are so distinctive a part of FK fandom.
