While visiting the Superman Fair in Metropolis with the other children of Midvale Orphanage, Linda Lee aka Supergirl is confronted three times by three separate kids her age, all of whom claim to know that she's Supergirl. Confused, she meets them in the forest, where they reveal themselves to be members of the Legion of Super-Heroes; specifically, they're the children of the original heroes that Superboy met years ago. They bring Supergirl with them to their era, where she is invited to join the Legion of Super-Heroes.

  • While visiting the Superman Fair in Metropolis with the other children of Midvale Orphanage, Linda Lee aka Supergirl is confronted three times by three separate kids her age, all of whom claim to know that she's Supergirl. Confused, she meets them in the forest, where they reveal themselves to be members of the Legion of Super-Heroes; specifically, they're the children of the original heroes that Superboy met years ago. They bring Supergirl with them to their era, where she is invited to join the Legion of Super-Heroes. However, to do so, she must first perform a super-feat to prove herself. She digs a tunnel through the Earth, allowing faster transportation and reducing sky traffic. Unfortunately, in so doing, she passed a Red Kryptonite meteorite, which artificially aged her. This made her ineligible for the team, as their maximum age is 18. She was thus returned to her time.
