Aegrus Claustrum was often foolish, much to the annoyance of Cad Bane, who often regretted hiring him. Cad Bane once went so far as to call Aegrus "Gungan vomit." Though a skilled pilot, he was considered to hold Cad Bane's posse back at times. During the mission to kidnap Thracia Cho-Leem, Jayo Chev'ris, Rosala Cho-Leem, and Jayo Cho-Leem, Cad Bane finally decided to get rid of him and sent him on a suicide mission to kill the leaders of the 1337 N00B5.
