  • OriginEarly Life Bentley's parents died while he was still relatively young. Victor von Doom would eventually discover Bentley's gifted intellect and aptitude for the mystical arts and offer to take on Bentley as his apprentice. Bentley came to view Victor as his pseudo-adoptive older brother/father. Bentley would serve as a founding member of Doctor Doom's original Frightful Four; however, the two eventually had a falling out. Bentley's narcissism and drive to be the best, most powerful scientist & sorcerer caused him to betray Victor. Bentley went on to form his own Frightful Four to rival Doctor Doom's team.
