| - Horde spies reported that a band of Human soldiers had captured a war party led by Troll commander "Zuljin" and had taken them to the township of Hillsbrad. The Horde saw an opportunity to place the captives in debt to the Horde. Doomhammer sent a force to ransom Zul'jin and his Trolls. The War Chief believed that the raid on the unsuspecting settlement would strike terror into the hearts of those who resisted the Horde (W2ToDOSG 156) The Horde's grunts gathered in the courtyard of the village, eager to seek carnage. Every soldier marched north, shouting war cries, leaving the peons behind scratching their heads. The war party encountered feeble resistance and swept forward toward the enemy prison camp, leaving the village unattended. The workers were given the day off. On reaching the camp, the troops first massacred the guards and patrolled about looking for more, before venting their frustration on the walls of the prison. They then followed the frozen river west and then south, finding more humans and slaughtering them. Finally they continued south to an abandoned village near Hillsbrad, which they claimed for themselves. (W2ToDOSG 156, 157)
