Chirl is the stable-boy in Killorn Keep and a real simpleton. The Avatar didn't learn much from him in Ultima Underworld II. It became clear very fast that Chirl, who was responsible for the Trilkhai in the stables, was much dumber than the so-called animals he was 'responsible' for. He however thought of the Trilkhai as dumb animals. Should the Avatar crash the keep to the ground, Chirl dies in the process.
