Mother Ves'ad was the name of the massive queen spider of the wyyyschokk, or webweavers, present in the Webweaver caverns of the Kkowir Forest on the planet Kashyyyk during the Galactic Civil War in 1.5 ABY. Rhiek Okina, a member of the Outcasts of the forest, hired a spacer to kill the gigantic spider. The spacer was successful and Okina rewarded them with a sinew-wrapped knife made from the remains of Ves'ad.
