Hyzorna was the lone moon of Karzabrog, the homeworld of the Horzyx. In Horzyx mythology, Hyzorna was the shield of Zahan Orifess, the Horzyx blood god who demanded sacrifices from his warriors. When Hyzorna was correctly positioned in the atmosphere to create a "blood moon", the Horzyx said that Zahan Orifess had filled his shield with the sacrifices offered to him.

abstract
  • Hyzorna was the lone moon of Karzabrog, the homeworld of the Horzyx. During the Shield War's Second Battle of Karzabrog, large sections of Hyzorna were destroyed by the Zarban Hegemony, which had tired of jockeying for position around the moon and sought to force the hand of the Horzyx by simply blasting straight through. The Horzyx attacked to keep the moon from fragmenting completely and the pieces from destroying their homeworld, suffering serious casualties as a result. In the wake of the bombardment, Hyzorna's axial tilt, rotation speed, and tidal effects on Karzabrog were all thrown off.
