- Modules are primary subsystems that can be built on Motherships, Carriers and Shipyards in Homeworld 2. They can fulfill a variety of roles.

- Les modules sont des objets spéciaux qui apparaissent dans Breath of the Wild.

- Modules are self-contained game files that hold all of the gameplay information for a particular adventure. NWN2 modules will not be backward compatible with NWN modules, because the graphics engine has been rewritten. However, some NWN content -- most likely conversations and scripts -- will be able to be imported into NWN2 modules. This article is a stub. You can help NWN2Wiki by [ expanding it].
- In radio control, a module is a term for a solid-state frequency synthesizer that is easily removed from a high-end R/C transmitter in order to switch operating frequencies via a change to another module. This is not to be confused with a crystal. Recent developments by Spektrum allow a modular 75 MHz radio used for surface models to operate on the internationally standardized 2.4 GHz band.
- A module is essentially a story written for Neverwinter Nights. It is usually a self-contained adventure, although some modules—particularly persistent world modules—span a geographic area of a gameworld. Multiple modules can be strung together into a campaign (for example, the original campaign consists of seven modules), with player characters automatically going to the next module as the current one ends. A module contains all the areas, non-player characters, items, and other objects that make up the story's setting, as well as the conversations and scripts that implement the plot of the story being told. In short, it contains all that a player can see while playing.
- Modules can take up a number of slots on a user's Public Page or Page Builder. Each Public Page has 12 slots available in a three-by-four grid. This limits the number of Modules which can be placed on a Public Page. Some modules are three slots wide such as the Dinosaur Excavation Module, others have two such as the Factory Module, and others take up only one slot such as the Orange Mixing Truck Module. There are some fundamental properties that characterize Modules:
- Modules are any item that can be fitted into a ship which will allow the ship to perform certain actions or boost its performance. Examples of modules include weapon systems like Missile Launchers, sensor equipments like Signal Amplifiers, and repair items such as Armor Repair Systems. All modules are added to a ship using the Fitting screen. All ships have a specific number of slots into which modules can be placed. These are divided into High Slots, Mid Slots, and Low Slots. Each module can fit into only one type of slot. For example, weapon system only fit into High Slots.
