Expensive, yet successful and brutally efficient, Tacit Ventures has cultivated in the two decades of the Post-War Era an elitist and victorious culture, choosing carefully only the most profitable contracts, and prosecuting them with indisputably efficacy — disputably the most elite PMC in UNSC space, Tacit Ventures is widely regarded as superior to most other PMCs (c.f. Omega Security Forces). Tacit Ventures's success is perhaps little surprise. It hires exclusively only ex-UNSC Special Forces personnel — it has been remarked to operate "moreorless like an independent arm of the UNSC Special Operations Command, except out for profit". Its operators are all former commandos with the UNSC special operations forces, with several years' required experience in either low-intensity conflict or major theater warfare (that is, several years experience in the Human-Covenant War). These Special Forces veterans bring unparalleled combat experience to Tacit Ventures's portfolio, and continue operating strictly only with the most au courant gear — they use without exception only UNSCSOCOM gear.
