SteadyEddie entered the wonderful world of Jottonia purely by accident. Jotto had a number of extra microsites within his domain, one of which was emailed to Eddie by a friend, sometime around 2002. The rest is history. Eddie hung around the game for the next three years or so, saying next to nothing and concentrating on investing (which to this day he sucks the big one at). It was only when a player he greatly admired, ex-CJ Shane McMahon, decided to form the political party New Deal, that Eddie began to involve himself in the social side of the game.

Fighting against MUC, the party whose sole policy was to scrap the rule of law, New Deal, led by Shane and Silverdragon, stormed to election victory and returned them to Parliament. A series of memorable political exchanges began between ND and MUC (featuring NoGood and Rodkleiven), during which Eddie gained a seat in Parliament and started the more vocal phase of his Jottonian life.
