| - Okay, first is MediaWiki:Recentchangestext become very... "simple" (several things was cut and made the template become very weird like this. And then, "Show new changes starting from TIME, DATE" disappeared. Any one know why? --TX55TALK 14:01, 5 February 2009 (UTC) Hi, we've been doing some maintenance on the interface... removing some of the excess that's built up over the years. Mediawiki does tend towards over-technical wordyness at times :) Of course, each wiki can over-ride the global defaults with local changes if they prefer. Local admins just need to edit the mediawiki pages here, and the local versions will be shown instead of the Wikia global ones. So if you feel something is too simple now, you can change it back (but think of the newbies! ;) -- sannse (talk) 17:39, 5 February 2009 (UTC) Thank you, I understand now. ;-D (But I think those aren't really excess, though. It's very convenient.^^) By the way, I know about local overriding but I'm still not familiar with the MediaWiki, which entry from MediaWiki should I edit in order to restore "Show new changes starting from TIME, DATE"? And what is it source code (like using which template or tags) to create "Show new changes starting from (TIME, DATE)"? Thanks again. ^^ --TX55TALK 02:39, 6 February 2009 (UTC) You can usually find the right page by searching though the text of Special:AllMessages.. For this one, you need to edit MediaWiki:Rclistfrom to say "Show changes since $1" (no quotes). -- sannse (talk) 10:39, 6 February 2009 (UTC) OH, that's very convenient. And I just restore the setting. Thanks a lot!! ;-D --TX55TALK 15:22, 7 February 2009 (UTC)
