Blind Image is an Indian Groove metal band that formed in 2006 in . Founded when drummer Srikrishna Met prashant at a local gig. Krishna watched on as Prashant was playing Comfortable Numb by Pink Floyd and as he began to play the solo, he was hellbent on forming a band with him. He congratulated Prashant as he got off the stage and told him about his future plans. Prashant immediately accepted and told him that he was game. Together they began jamming popular metal songs from Metallica and Megadeth, and began to look for a bass player. For the position of Bass Player, they called in Shricharan who was Krishna’s friend at that time. They also got Ashwanth to play rhythm guitars. Krishna watched on as Prashant was playing Comfortable Numb by Pink Floyd and as he began to play the solo, he was hellbent on forming a band with him. He congratulated Prashant as he got off the stage and told him about his future plans. Prashant immediately accepted and told him that he was game. Together they began jamming popular metal songs from Metallica and Megadeth, and began to look for a bass player. For the position of Bass Player, they called in Shricharan who was Krishna’s friend at that time. They also got Ashwanth to play rhythm guitars. Enter Shri, a Software Professional who was a guitar virtuoso hopeful, plucked right out of his comfort zone and put in a pitiful predicament; he was asked to play the Bass for the band. Shri willingly accepted and soon began to jam with the band as the official Bass Player. Now once again with a complete line – up, the band began playing shows at the local pubs. Four months down and things began to get a little shaky for the band. Ashwanth left the band due to musical differences and Eddy decided to leave the band, all of a sudden, due to personal reasons. Just when they thought they had a stable line – up, Blind Image was left with many reasons to doubt their endeavors to success. Prashant gave the band assurance that he will find a vocalist to fill in the spot. He relied on his friend from college with whom he had had many discussions on music. He remembered this guy telling him that he could sing metal and that he was looking out for a band and decided to give him a call. David receives a phone call that will cement his future as a vocalist. At auditions, Krishna showed his dislike as David failed to impress, putting very little effort into what was a dream opportunity for him. He was shown the door immediately and the band began seeking other options. Unable to find exactly what they were looking for, they decided to stick with David. One week later, they played two back – to – back gigs in two cities and that was when they realized that David was best suited for the band. He complemented the band’s music with his craziness on the stage and soon Blind Image came to be known for their wacky antics on stage. The band became four – piece and this was when the line – up became somewhat stable. After realizing the need to get a second guitarist, Shri was asked to take that spot and the band called their friend Tibu to take over the bassist spot, which also completed the bands recent line up.
