- Grand Theft Auto: Vice City of GTA Vice City is het tweede spel in de GTA III era. Het spel speelt zich 15 jaar eerder af dan GTA III. GTA Vice City speelt zich af in het zonnige Vice City in Florida in het jaar 1986.
- Pelaaja voi auton lisäksi nyt myös lentää helikopterilla, ajaa moottoripyörällä ja ohjata erilaisia veneitä. Pelihahmo ei kuitenkaan osaa uida ja hukkuu siksi heti joutuessaan pelin aikana veteen. Tavallisten juonitehtävien lisäksi pelaaja voi ansaita rahaa tekemällä esimerkiksi sairaankuljetus-, poliisi- ja palomiestehtäviä. Sen lisäksi pelaaja voi suorittaa erikoistehtäviä, kuten ”rampageja”, joissa täytyy tappaa jengiläisiä tarpeeksi ennen ajan loppumista. Kun pelaaja saa ostettua erilaisia yhtiöitä, hän saa sieltä joko juonitehtäviä tai vapaaehtoistöitä. Pelin idea on kerätä omaisuutta saarelta ja nousta alamailmaan johtoon. Pelistä löytyy myös useita easter eggejä eli pääsiäismunia.

- Grand Theft Auto: Vice City (parfois abrégé en GTA Vice City, Vice City et GTAVC) est le sixième épisode de la série Grand Theft Auto développé par Rockstar North et publié par Rockstar Games sorti en novembre 2002 sur PlayStation 2, en mai 2003 sur PC, en janvier 2004 (Europe) sur Xbox, en décembre 2012 sur iOS et Android et en décembre 2015 sur Playstation 4. Il utilise une version améliorée du RenderWare, moteur de jeu de GTA III et reproduit comme lui une grande cité avec ses immeubles, ses véhicules et ses habitants.
