| - Muppet Babies is American Television Series
- The show's humor relied heavily on incorporating footage from live action film and television productions, most often Star Wars, but clips from Henson's own The Muppet Show, Sesame Street, and Labyrinth also surfaced. Live-action cameo appearances included Whoopi Goldberg and Tom Selleck, amongst others. In an interview with Hank Saroyan, he talks about Jim Henson's vision of this animated series: The series prompted a short-lived spinoff, Little Muppet Monsters.
- Muppet Babies was produced by The Jim Henson Company and Marvel Productions. The rights are now held by Disney-ABC Domestic Television. Although the episodes were 30 minutes (including commercials), it was typically shown in 60 and even 90 minute blocks during the peak of its popularity. Outside of the United States, the show was distributed by Walt Disney Television.
- Muppet Babies is an animated series which ran on CBS for seven years from 1984 to 1991. The series features Baby Kermit, Baby Piggy, Baby Fozzie, Baby Gonzo, Baby Rowlf, Baby Scooter, Baby Skeeter, and Baby Animal under the care of Nanny, as they explore the vastness of their own imaginations. With the exception of Skeeter and Animal, "baby" versions of the Muppets had previously appeared in The Muppets Take Manhattan in a dream sequence that inspired the series (a puppet version of Animal didn't appear until 1987 in A Muppet Family Christmas, and Skeeter was created for the show).
- In the episode Little Orphan Hero, Foxxy Love remembered the time when Clara adopted a bunch of pit bulls but got bored of them and so she sent them to live with The Muppet Babies. A cutaway gag then showed all of the Muppet Babies being ripped and torn apart by the pit bulls and their stuffing was coming out. Gonzo was seen getting shaken around in a pit bull's mouth, Scooter was seen being anal raped by one of them, and Fozzie was seen, lying dead on the table. Also, an unnamed green dinosaur Muppet was seen being eaten by one of the pit pulls who doesn't portray of even parody on any actual Muppet. It is unknown what he was doing there or why.
