Terry Bogard is the star of the Fatal Fury and King of Fighters 2D fighting game series by SNK. He is also known as "The Godslayer" and "The Lone Wolf". Terry is also the only King of Fighters character to appear in more than one Summer Contest.

In a 2005 poll made by SNK-Playmore USA, he was voted as the number one fan favorite character with a total of 10014 votes. He was voted as the second most favorite character at the time of Garou: Mark of the Wolves with one commenter saying that "Terry's the eternal hero". __TOC__ Terry Bogard is the protagonist of the Fatal Fury franchise created by SNK. He has become an iconic character for SNK and has appeared in severel other games outside of Fatal Fury (such as The King of Fighters). The eldest of two orphans adopted by Jeff Bogard. Following the murder of his father, Terry and his younger brother Andy was left in the care of Jeff's martial arts master, Master Tung Fu Rue. Master Tung later trains them and later send them in a training journey to perfect their technique. Many years later they reunite to find out who of the two is better and worthy enough to learn the secret of Hakkyokuseiken. Terry Bogard is a fictional, video game character created by SNK Playmore (previously SNK), and is the main character of the Fatal Fury series. In the series, he is an American fighter who enters the worldwide tournaments called The King of Fighters to kill Geese Howard, a criminal who killed Terry's father. Terry becomes a formidable fighter, earning the title of "Legendary Hungry Wolf". In the fourth tournament he participates, Terry manages to kill Geese with help from his friends, but he retracts from this at last moment. He eventually decides to become the guardian of Geese's son, Rock Howard. Terry Bogard is the brother of Andy Bogard. Both of them were orphans adopted by Jeff Bogard. He is often referred to as the Legendary Hungry Wolf (from Garou Densetsu, meaning "Legend of the Hungry Wolf"). He has a pet monkey named Ukee (the previous mascot of SNK before Terry). He has a knack for scoring in basketball, which explains the creation of his Power Dunk move. __TOC__
