- Ankle-Biters are the more common name for children between the ages of 5-15 that have been exposed to the T-Virus and became infected. Due to their younger age, they do not immediately start with rotting skin but rather the craving for human flesh. First seen in America during the Raccoon City Outbreak, the Ankle-Biters are quicker than regular zombies, are in larger hordes, and scream to alert prey of it's presence. The most common area to find them, are playgrounds, elementary schools, and junior high schools. They are known to have a more voracious appetite and will tear people apart.
