She was like an older sister to Akira when he was a kid. She also loved to play an ocarina she made out of a rare mineral in the Land of Lightning. She was brutally tortured in the Land of Spires' prison. She kept telepathically communicating to Akira telling him that she was alright. She knew that Akira was preparing to save her, but she soon saw that her end was near.

  • Often refered to as Kaname, Yoruichi Kaname is a Jonin from the Land of Lightning. She was Akira Kaname's caretaker. She found him when he was about 3 years old, and took pity on him. She was like an older sister to Akira when he was a kid. She also loved to play an ocarina she made out of a rare mineral in the Land of Lightning. When the Land of Lightning was taken over by the Akatsuki, she fled to the Land of Fire. Along the way she was captured by some slavers from the Land of Spires. Akira was devastated at what happened, but she told him telepathically to head to the Land of Fire. Akira told her that he would never leave her, but she told him that she would never forgive herself if he was taken to the Land of Spires. She was brutally tortured in the Land of Spires' prison. She kept telepathically communicating to Akira telling him that she was alright. She knew that Akira was preparing to save her, but she soon saw that her end was near. She almost sacrificed her life to save Akira when the warden, a former Mizukage, tried to kill Akira. She was near the brink of death, but Akira unknowingly used a legendary medical justu to save her. She lives with Akira as his older sister in Konohagakure. At one time she has had a relationship with Seireitou Hyuga, but she really doesn't carry any feelings for him.
