Er reist frohmütig und unbekümmert mit seinem Chocobo Boko durch die Welt, bis er beinahe zufällig in die Spielhandlung involviert wird. Wenngleich er eigentlich sein eigenbrötlerisches Leben fortführen will, vertraut er seiner Intuition und wird ein vom Licht der Kristalle auserwählter Streiter im Kampf gegen den Hexer Exdeath.
