Wellington Tower was a 64 metre, 23 storey tower block on Alexander Street, Maxwelltown, to the east of the Hilltown, in Dundee. It was built as part of a cluster of four blocks in 1968. They were Brutalist in design, and were a prominent feature of the city's skyline from the south and east. The four blocks were demolished on July 31st, 2011 as part of Dundee Council's long-term housing strategy, which has seen the bulk of the town's unpopular multi-storey blocks demolished.
