Shortly after the CIS was defeated the emerging Galactic Empire outlawed the production of a number series of droids. The B.A.T. series was one of them. But shortly after the Empire was first defeated at the Battle of Endor, Starlight Star Drives reintroduced the B.A.T. series, updated for the times.
