Rising Earth Temple was a Shintao sect of the Brotherhood of Shinsei which was founded after the beliefs of a heimin named Yuutaro, who was among the Ki-Rin Clan during their wanderings in gaijin lands. He preached that the well-being of the clan could best be served by improving the health and care of its heimin. The sect was formally formed after the Return of the Ki-Rin, but unfortunately they were quickly deep infiltrated by the Kolat conspiracy. Its main temple at Shiro Shinjo was destroyed in the 12th century during Shinjo's judgment. By the time of Empress Iweko I's reign, the temple's greatest strength was in Phoenix and Dragon lands, as well as along the Kaiu Wall. They might travel to spread the word of their efforts and recruit new teachers.
