Following their master, The Void's, defeat at the hands of Joe Musashi, the Four Elements left the employ of the Neo Zeed and began to work for the Yakuza. This brought them to hide out at the Mitsugi Casino, one of the Yakuza's headquarters. Oyabun Mitsugi was happy to accept them as guests but did not allow them to interfere in many of their matters. This began to anger the ninjas, who knew that Musashi was outside the building, dressed as a newspaper vendor, listening into the casino.

This brought them to hide out at the Mitsugi Casino, one of the Yakuza's headquarters. Oyabun Mitsugi was happy to accept them as guests but did not allow them to interfere in many of their matters. This began to anger the ninjas, who knew that Musashi was outside the building, dressed as a newspaper vendor, listening into the casino. Oyabun Mitsugi was playing a dice game with the Yakuza when the Four Elements violently interrupted, stopping the path of the dice with two thrown shurikens. The gathered assassins quickly scattered their money and grabbed their weapons, whilst Air explained their situation. Her revelation insulted the Yakuza, with one member drawing his sword to kill them. However, Mitsugi allowed the ninjas the chance to bring Musashi inside, something they achieved very quickly. Later, Musashi was brought in front of Mitsugi, with the Yakuza boss disbelieving of the "old man's" dangerous nature. He quickly changed his mind when Musashi left a state of prana and slashed at him with a hidden blade. The agile shinobi easily dodged several Yakuza men's gunfire, even watching as they shot each other. Musashi eventually found the chance to jump through the skylight and escaped. Realising that Musashi knew his strengths and weaknesses, Mitsugi sent the Yakuza and the Elements to bring back Musashi in chains, with orders not to return until they succeed.
