Biography
  • Danny Weese is a former NASCAR driver. He competed in eight Nationwide Series events in his career. Weese's debut came in 1982, when he competed at Darlington. Starting positions in the field of twenty-three are unknown, but Weese didn't last long in the race and struggled to a 23rd place finish. He didn't fare any better in his next race, blowing an engine to finish 19th at Dover, but then running to a solid 17th place at Rockingham to close out the year. Weese's then competed in a pair of 1983 races, when he competed at some of his most raced-at tracks. He ran respectably once again at Rockingham, driving to a mid-pack 22nd place finish. But nothing changed for the driver back in Dover, falling out very early to finish a disappointing 29th. Weese's next two races, both of which came in 1984, did not go any better for the driver. In fact, it was a terrible year for the driver. A pair of 36th place finishes haunted the driver in his efforts, breaking an ignition early at Rockingham and losing an oil pump just one lap in at Darlington. Weese's last race, which came in 1985, unfortunately saw no improvement. Seven laps into the Dover event, Weese had broken an oil pump, ending his career with a last place finish.
