It was later responsible for intercepting the communication from Romulus in 2379. In 2379, after the disastrous Tezwa affair, the USS Amargosa, along with the USS Musashi and the USS Republic were sent to aid the USS Enterprise-E with the reconstruction of Tezwa after millions of its citizens were killed and most of its major cities' structures were destroyed by the Klingons.
