The Kallisko was a warp-capable transport ship active in the 24th century whose home port was on Boreal III. The Kallisko was equipped with minimal shields and low-level particle phasers. In 2368, the ship was en route near the Brechtian Cluster where it was intercepted by the Crystalline Entity. A distress call was sent and received by the USS Enterprise-D, however, it was no match for the creature and the whole crew was killed. A short time later, an Enterprise away team boarded the Kallisko, where it was discovered that every living thing on the ship had been consumed by the Crystalline entity, including the crew and even the seeds in the ship's greenery storage.
