Beside his work on Star Trek, Walters won two more Emmy Awards for Outstanding Achievement in Makeup in 1979 for the television mini series Backstairs at the White House, shared with Mark Bussan, and in 1990 for The Tracey Ullman Show episode "High School Sweethearts", shared with Thomas R. Burman, Bari Dreiband-Burman, and Greg Nelson. Also in 1990 he was nominated for another Emmy Award for The Tracey Ullman Show episode "Creative Differences" which he shared with Thomas R. Burman and Bari Dreiband-Burman. Following his work as Make-Up Artist on the third season of the comedy series Family Matters (1991-1992), Walters passed away in Hollywood, California at the age of 55.
