Fred Knipscheer (born September 3, 1969 in Fort Wayne, Indiana) is a retired professional ice hockey centre 28 games in the National Hockey League. He played with the Boston Bruins and St. Louis Blues. The native of Fort Wayne, Indiana enjoyed three strong years at St. Cloud State. In 1992-93 he scored 34 goals in 36 games and was voted on to the WCHA first all-star team and the NCAA West Second All-American Team. In the NHL Knipscheer scored 6 goals and 3 assists in 28 regular season games. In the playoffs he scored 2 goals and an assist in 16 games.
