Biography
| - Tim Woods is a former NASCAR driver from Chino Hills, CA. He has competed in four Craftsman Truck Series events in his career and was the first full-time African-American driver on the West Series circuit.
Woods debut came in 2001, when he competed at South Boston. Woods was part of history, as three African-American drivers started the event, the most in a race in the sport's history. Unfortunately, Woods only completed half of the race before he crashed to 29th, the same place he started. He wasn't too much better at California, squandering an opportunity in a Roush Racing truck to finish 25th.
Woods' other two races came in 2003, when he started the year off at Mesa Marin. It was another struggle for Woods, who crashed to a 31st place finish. He did manage to be running at the end of his last race, however, matching his career-best with a 25th at Martinsville.
