On his quest to defeat Vorr and free the captured Ancestors, Tarnum came to a nameless land far to the northeast. While tracking the Mad Ancestor, he received a warning from the demons of Blackdome to "go back or die". He learned that a couple of Infernos had suddenly appeared about a month before, and that the demons there were plaguing the local population. At first, Tarnum thought the demons just happened to be in his way, but he soon learned that they were actually working for Vorr.

Gathering up his barbarian forces, he attacked Blackdome and slew the demons, freeing the area from their infernal control.
