I should've seen that the moment I started picking a fight with him. He thought silently, still determined however, to bring Tarakus in for his uncle's death. Another officer walked in. "Lord Warbird, you have a guest here, who wishes to see you." "Bring them in." "As you wish, my lord." Walking in, with a flowing brown cape, and sporting a cane, a Dragon, with a face similar to Harlan Takanagamo's walked in. "Hello, Moorshavin. I'm glad to see that some things around here don't change, like the fog." The Dragon said, wittingly. "Hello, Draco Minoris. What brings you here?" Moorshavin said, pulling a chair up for the distinguished Dragon, Darth Draco Minoris. "Well, I'm here, because as of late, I've noticed a destructive pattern in your thinking. It seems you're trying to avenge a death that you may never understand." Draco Minoris said, sitting down. "What do you know about Uncle Phane's death?" "That Tarakus was hired by none other than your grandfather himself. When your Uncle created the Singularity device, your grandfather was most concerned for this galaxy, and he also knew that what your Uncle was doing, was only to take rage out on your grandfather. That's why Tarakus killed him. I'd let this go, before it consumes you completely." Draco Minoris said, showing no emotion on his face. Moorshavin's face twisted into an expression of anger, rage, and shock. "If my grandfather put Tarakus up to this, wouldn't I have known about it from my father?" "Your father was instructed by your grandfather, never to reveal this secret. Everyone feared Phane, much like they feared your great-grandfather, and you. Naturally, they all wanted to see Phane dead, but only your grandfather had the guts to take him down. You're trying to avenge something that you don't understand, and probably never will. Let it go!" Moorshavin let the rage take over. "I will NEVER forgive Tarakus for what he did to my Uncle, even if my grandfather put him up to it! He must PAY, for his crime!" "What's the sense in holding on to this grudge? You never knew your uncle. I don't think you would've wanted to know him." "I did. I wanted to be like him." "You were, when you committed to the 12 Year Purge." Draco Minoris said, his sad gold eyes, showing pain and angst. "Why do you care anyway?!" "Because, Moorshavin, I tried the same thing, years ago, when I went to the Dark Side. That's why I was banished from Tristchana. That's why I must pay. I just don't want you to make the same mistakes that Phane had made before his death." - - - - - -Hapes Cluster, DMC Gunship Esmerelda Deadmerit Wayne III looked over his men and women that made up the elite team, The Terrible 10. He thought to himself, Let's hope we can catch up to Tarakus before he gets too far. "Sir, we're coming up on what looks like the Tepagastra Sandman." The pilot of the gunship said. Wayne III grabbed a space optics scope, and looked over the identifying features. "It's her alright. Open a channel to them." "Yes, sir." The pilot turned on a comlink frequency to the Sandman. "Tepagastra Sandman, this is DMC Gunship Esmerelda Deadmerit, assigned to accompany you on your quest. This is Wayne Deadmerit III speaking. Come in, Tepagastra Sandman." "This is Tarakus Deadmerit on the Tepagastra Sandman, on whose orders are you protecting me under?" "Prince Harlan Takanagamo's, Stenthis Deadmerit." "Good, you can be my extra helpers, then. We're trying to track down the Anakin Solo." "Then I suppose you'll need a strike team?" "Yeah, if you're up to it. "Oh, I'm up to it. I brought the Terrible 10 with me." "Well, that's one thing that I can rely on, with your family, overdoing things for you missions. I'll take it." "I thought you would. Well, I think we might be getting close." "I think you're right." Everyone looked around noticing that they had entered a graveyard of wreckage, presumably just after a battle had occurred with the Anakin Solo. "So, what's the plan?" Wayne III said, taking a look at the chunks of debris floating through the emptiness of space. "We'll use our cloaking devices to board the ship. We cloak our ships, and land in the hangar bay, and then, we'll spread out and search for clues that my wife may have left behind. This isn't our only stop. After this, we're heading to Hesperidium, to see what we can find there." "I like the sound of that plan. Ok, let's do this." "Alright. I'll come back on, when we get close enough to the ship. For now, Deadmerit out."
