| - I am freelance columnist. After doing masters (2000) in Journalism from University of Peshawar I joined The Frontier Post as internee sub-editor. I have started writing articles for newspapers in 2004 but since June 2009 I am regularly contributing articles to different newspapers like The Frontier Post, Statesman, Dawn, Aaj Kal-Lahore, Asia Times Online (Hong Kong), Weekly Rutab – Islamabad, Bangladesh Today, Probe News Magazine (Bangladesh) and now a days I write for Daily Outlook Afghanistan. So far my more than 130 articles are published nationally and internationally. My area of interest in journalism is terrorism, politics, secularism, religion, education and creating a friendly environment in Kabul for Pakistan through my articles. My long term goal in journalism is to start a debate about society free of religious bias based on the concept of regional cooperation. Besides writing articles I am teaching Social Studies (Oxford syllabus) and Pakistan Studies at a missionary institute (Pennell High School & College Bannu, Under Diocese of Peshawar – Church of Pakistan). I am Syndicate leader (Section Head) of High Section. My responsibilities include management of high section. I help administration to manage male teaching staff of high section. This management includes checking their weekly, short term and long term planning, performance of teachers in classrooms, convincing the teachers for amendment in policies, and conveying their complaints to the principal, copies checking of teachers and pointing out their mistakes, helping the teachers to handle the students and teaching moral values to students. Though journalism is my passion however I am teacher by nature. I feel relax teaching my students, making them religiously tolerant and enlightened but remaining within religion. Instead of discussing religious dogmas I try to concentrate on political Islam and events like Pact of Madina, speech of Hazrat Jafar Tayar in the court of Negus and the last address of the Holy Prophet.
