- Kota was a pearl diver of Mizu Mura, a village near the White Shore Lake. His brother Hideyoshi had a romantic relation with a Ningyo maiden, who lived in a sunken city in the lake's bottom's. - It consists of a framework of slender tree trunks which hold up leather or furs from various large game, which then serve to keep the elements out. Kota usually have a fire in the center of the tent to help warm its occupants. Unlike traditional wooden buildings, Kota are easy to create and quick to disassemble, making them ideal for temporary hunting camps or nomadic peoples. Unfortunately, they do not retain warmth in winter unless the covering used for them is fur (not leather), and fireplaces and sleeping bunks may not be built inside of them.
- At 5'11", he's short for an orc and built lean and wirey rather than muscular. His auburn hair is worn long and loose except for two tribal braids behind his ears, and is usually held back from his face by an ever-present pair of engineer's goggles. His skin color is more olive than green, indicated a very low exposure to fel magics.
