The insurrection aimed to reclaim control of Alaska and declare it independent from the United States. It was headed by Chief Bold Hawk, and started by taking control of a nuclear-armed base in the middle of the Alaskan wilderness. It did so with no resistance, as the base was empty. This prompted a response from the government. This was a domestic terrorist threat, and it could not go public, as the stability of the nation would deteriorate and foreign nations would question the strength of the US government, so they conducted a black operation and authorized Marine Corps Base Quantico to send one lone Marine into Alaska to reclaim the facility. They chose Jay Clark for the mission, and on August 27th, he left for Alaska. Though he managed to take down the Iron Wolf officers Rolling Stone, Savage Wolf, Swift Raven, and Seeing Eagle, the insurrectionists and their leader proved to be too much for the young man. He was allowed to live, and was transported back to Virginia. Now hospitalized, he was informed that he was only going to get one chance to redeem himself, but because of his failure, was to be accompanied by a partner during his second tour into Alaska. Now with James Hunter, codenameEagle Eye was able to defeat Chief Bold Hawk and his personal guard and then proceeded to defuse the nukes on site, preventing them from ever being used again. The insurrection lasted about eight months, from its formation to the death of Bold Hawk, and never went public. Though the media eventually found out, twelve years later, it was already done and Eagle Eye and Hound ended the insurrection.
