| - Weyoun was a high-ranking male Vorta in the Dominion. He has been cloned at least nine times, as of 2376. Weyoun was a key figure of the Dominion War.
- Weyoun was a Vorta diplomat and leader who served the Dominion in the 24th century. Like all Vorta, Weyoun was a clone, with which at least eight copies were known to exist, five of which were encountered by the Federation in the 2370s. During the Dominion's war with the Alpha Quadrant, Weyoun served as the Dominion representative in the Cardassian Union where he personally oversaw most aspects of the war as well as ensuring the loyalties of Cardassian leaders such as Skrain Dukat and Corat Damar. - Weyoun was a notable character for being one of the few villians portrayed in a sympathetic light. While some have suggested this is because he was too short to use the sinister lighting effects on him, it is generally agreed that this is because he was portrayed as being motivated out of loyality for his master while displaying none of the sadism of other villians like Khan Noonien Singh and Gul Dukat. For these reasons, the Female Changeling has referred to Weyoun as being "The only solid I ever trusted" (as well as being "absolutely adorable" "cute" and asking the Great Link repreatedly if she could keep him.)
- The war brought Weyoun into contact with many leaders from the Alpha Quadrant. He visited Deep Space 9 to negotiate with Benjamin Sisko when the cold war between the powers of the Alpha Quadrant and the Dominion showed signs of eroding into open hostilities. Shortly thereafter, he returned with a fleet of Cardassian and Dominion warships to take control of the station, and went on to serve as the Dominion overseer of the station during the brief occupation that followed. In this capacity, he personally negotiated a nonaggression pact with Bajor and dealt with representatives from such powers as the Romulan Star Empire, Breen Confederacy, and Tholian Assembly. Until his death, he remained the only "Solid" that the Female Changeling claimed that she had ever trusted.

- Weyoun was the reason the writers of DS9 came up with the idea all Vorta are grown and cloned in the service of the mighty Pudding Demons. With that addition to their mythos interest in the Vorta dropped about 87% according to many viewers. Rather than having a rich, diverse race to oppose the spiffy Federation, like the the widely successful spoonheads, the showfolks managed to come up with just a silly variation on the alien of the week and the Vorta never were able to grow as characters like the aforementioned spoonheads or mildly popular Vulcans. Screw using imaginations, just make them a race of evil clone-bots!
