Shady Grove is a Washington Metro station in Montgomery County, Maryland on the Red Line. This is the northwestern end of the Red Line, and an important terminus. Shady Grove serves the cities of Rockville and Gaithersburg, Maryland, as well as northwest Montgomery County, Frederick County and points north. It is located at Redland Road near Frederick Road, at the end of Interstate 370. Service began on July 25, 1984.
