Nottingham Lace is one of avant-garde musician Buckethead's most famous songs and has been played a lot during some of his tours along with "Soothsayer" and "Jordan". It is the closer song for the 2005 album Enter the Chicken. The studio version is played in a Drop C tuning, and is considered to be a song in the hard rock or heavy metal genre. The song lasts for 6 minutes and 33 seconds; the solo itself going on for 4 minutes approximately. Like most of Buckethead's songs, "Nottingham Lace" does not feature vocals and is completely instrumental.
