He advanced through the Fleet on merit, eventually commanding the dreadnought Trian. Despite never advanced beyond this point due to CSA Fleet politics, he was by far the most successful child of his father. He married his wife, Alnetta Oron, as a young lieutenant in the Fleet. When it became clear that his disputes with certain well-connected superiors would keep him at the rank of Captain for the duration of his career, she betrayed him. Ravishing and resourseful, Alnetta joined with the pliant Commander Webber Angril to frame Cedin for a using armed ammunition during a fleet exercise against a rival's command. Cedin, who had to much influence to be outright convicted of the charges, was forced to resign his commission. Stripped of all he had built by this betrayal, he left the CSA and made his way to Bastion, to start again in the Imperial Fleet.Family His older sister, Katlin, married the administrator of Ession, and still resides there. It was her husband's influence, combined with Cedin's own, that prevented his trail and conviction. His brother, Irwin, has moved away from the CSA. Cedin does not know where he currently is. His younger sister, Sessil, still lives with Cedin's father. She is currently seeking employment in the CSA's weapons development division. Cedin remains married to Alnetta, unwilling to give her a free hand to continue her plan of social advancement.
