Samuel Ruddell Collier (c.1864 - 29 August 1941) was a physician, local politician and rugby player active in the Wimbledon area. Born in Ulster, he was the fourth son of the Rev. Robert Collier, a Methodist minister. He studied at the Methodist College in Belfast, and won a scholarship to study medicine at Trinity College Dublin in 1879. Around this time he played rugby for Ireland in an international match against Scotland held in Belfast in February 1883. He died in Bedford, aged 77.
