Laser Goggles is Professor Layton's Down Special Move in Super Smash Bros. Global Apocalypse. An electric attack, Layton pulls out his Laser Goggles, turns to the screen and fires two, thick, red laser beams to the ground for a short amount of time, trapping any opponent near it and dealing damage. It does not have much knockback. The attack is rather slow and Professor Layton cannot move while performing it. If it is performed in the air, Professor Layton will fire two laser beams very quickly in a diagonial direction. If performed in the ground, and the opponent is trapped in it, it deals 8% damage; if it's performed in the air, it deals 7% damage but had greater knockback.
