| - The JS25ART is a limited edition model made in honor of the twenty-fifth anniversary of Satriani's relationship with Ibanez. There are only 50 examples created, each of which is hand-illustrated and signed by Satriani himself, so each is a unique work of art. Satriani illustrated the guitars using Sharpie color pens on top of a black finish. The bodies were illustrated at the Ibanez Los Angeles custom shop in late 2014 and then returned to Japan for clear-coating and assembly. A second release of 70 or so similarly doodled white guitars followed in 2016 as the JSART2.

In terms of specs, the JS25ART is a mix of the JS2400 & JS2450 models. The JS25ART has a basswood body with one-piece maple neck, a 24-fret rosewood fretboard with dot position markers, dual DiMarzio humbucking pickups with coil-tap functionality and high-pass filter, an Edge tremolo bridge with carbon fiber Ultralite tremolo arm, locking nut and chrome hardware. The JS25ART were unveiled at the NAMM Show in California in January 2015 and were also featured at the Musikmesse show in Frankfurt, Germany, in April 2015. Of the 50 examples produced, 25 went to the US market and at least 8 went to Europe. A hardshell case and Certificate of Authenticity are included with each guitar. A second release of 70 or so similarly doodled white guitars followed in 2016 as the JSART2.
