"Isle of Werewolves") fell and Sauron fled, he himself taking the form of a Vampire.

- Thuringwethil, vrouwe van de geheime schaduw, is een fictief personage dat in het Verhaal van Beren en Lhútien, gepubliceerd in de Silmarilion, voorkomt. Ze is een vampier, waarschijnlijk een maia, uit de Eerste Era en de boodschaper van Sauron als hij over Minas Tirith, de toren op Tol-in-Gorthaur, in handen heeft.
