I am unable to remember the name of that character. I played it twice, and twice he died a quick stupid death. First time, I had just bought Unearthed Arcana 1st edition, and decided to create a dark elf fighter-mage. Game session begins: the PCs had first to cross a forest. They met with simple wolves, and the drow dies during his first fight after 15 minutes of play. I didn't try to play it a third time... :(

I pick up the drow fighter-mage character sheet, doesn't change anything and begin play. He survived two adventures. Then, as he was riding his horse in the wilderness, a troll suddenly jumped on him from behind a tree and did slay him in one round... I didn't try to play it a third time... :(
