The International Yo-Yo Open, also known as the New York State Yo-Yo Contest, was a yo-yo contest that started in 2007. It was held in New York City for several years, traditionally scheduled on the weekend following the World Yo-Yo Contest. The contest was notable because of its venue, at the South Street Seaport, which afforded tremendous exposure to non-yo-yoing foot traffic. The International Yo-Yo Open was organized by Yoyonation.com. Sponsors of the event included Yoyonation, Duncan, HSpin, Dif-e-Yo, YoYoFactory, YoYoJam and werrd.
