  • The Silk Road is a caravan track running through the West March between Polisberg and Shigrad. The Abbey of Last Resort is the only inn or caravansary on the route. It is also known as the Steel Road by Shigrad natives. From Shigrad, it runs due north for about a week's caravan travel, then turns east through a gap in the Kuroy Mountains. It meanders northeast for 10 days through the Govia Plains, going more sharply north as it skirts the Paljanna Waste and Paljanna Mountains. It crosses over the northern foothills of the Paljanna range, then veers southeast past Kirkengard and to the edge of the Kirken Canyon. From there, it's about 3 days hard drive across the Shining Coast to Polisberg.
